Communication Strategy
Sotacarbo's institutional mandate and the nature of the programmes it develops determine the need for an organic communication plan, capable of positively impacting on the success of its projects, fostering public understanding and appreciation.
Sharing the results with a wider community than the scientific one is to be considered instrumental in achieving the full success of the projects carried out by the company.
For this reason, the objective of Sotacarbo communication is to foster and consolidate positive feedback that goes beyond specialist fora (conferences, international working groups) and is also open to an audience without specific expertise.
In the current energy transition, with the progressive shift from fossil fuels to renewables, the role of communication and information is even more crucial to raise awareness and induce changes in habits, which are essential for the success of policies and programmes that support a change in the development model and energy saving.
The choice of a coordinated communication strategy is considered the most appropriate to maximise the reach of each initiative and highlight the connection that exists between the various research activities and the promotion of virtuous choices and behaviour for sustainable development.
This communication and dissemination activity is carried out through the participation and organisation of workshops and conferences, scientific publications and articles, an online magazine (ONE), training and information programmes for young researchers (Summer School) and primary and secondary school students (Sotacarbo with Schools).
