Busan, S. Korea 29 November -1 Dicember 2016 The organizing committee is pleased to announce that the 5th International Symposium on Gasification and Its Application (iSGA-5) will be held in Busan, Korea, from November 29 to December 2, 2016, under the theme of “Role of Gasification Technology in the Post-2020 Climate Change Regime.” The objective of iSGA-5 is exploring the role of gasification technology in the unforeseeable and constantly fluctuating present energy situation. Especially, special session for the coupling of clean fuel technology and climate change in the Post-2020 will be prepared. iSGA-5 will include plenary sessions, keynote lectures and several specialized sessions on various topics related with gasification technology similar to previous conferences. The topical area are also included the latest advancement of gasification technologies of coal, biomass, wastes and their applications. High quality papers will be considered for publication in reputable international scientific journals such as Fuel Processing Technology, Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering, etc.
